COVID-19 LETTER TO OUR CUSTOMERS

kenpo_crest_smallDate: June 16, 2020

Students,

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global corona-virus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life.  First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we’re truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

We are now in the process of reopening our Studio slowly. All entry into our studio is now monitored and time must be booked in order for you to gain access. We must follow a protocol set by the County in order to remain open. Please know this is not what we would like but it is mandatory in the face of this Pandemic.

We are also pleased to announce that we will have started THE re-opening of our Studio as of Monday, June 15.  We will be holding Adult Zoom Classes at 6:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays and have capacity of 9 students that can attend AT THE STUDIO while we are filming.  We will also have an Adult class at 7:00 pm, that is not video’d and have 9 spots available for this class.

Please contact us for availability.

We will publish new schedules of classes as soon as we can and we currently have our current schedule posted that you can access here.  Once we do, we will be taking reservations for the class/classes you would like to attend.  You may contact me to reserve your spot.  If you are unable to make a class you reserved, it would be appreciated if you would please let us know preferably 24 hrs in advance if possible.

An invite will be sent to you through google calendar.  If you are unavailable, decline the invite so it will leave your spot open for another student.  Space is tight, so we appreciate your cooperation.

We are limiting our classes to 9 students in order to keep socially distant and yet still be able to have enough room to practice your techniques.

We have protocols  that you must follow.  Please read carefully and adhere to the guidelines set forth in the document attached.   I have also printed some and left them at the studio.

Let me highlight a few that are most important.

  1. Please wear your uniform to class.barbara white with andrea kicking pad
  2. Please use sanitizing wipes to wipe faucets, toilet seat or any other surface you use in the restrooms.  (DO NOT FLUSH THE WIPES)
  3. Bring your own water!  We need to limit the items we touch and supply while we try to recover from these past three months.

Studio Class and Private Class protocol:

  1. Please leave all personal belongings in your locked car.
  2. All persons entering the studio MUST wear a mask.
  3. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before class.
  4. Please sign in and fill out Questionnaire.
  5. Please have your temperature taken and documented.
  6. Please wait on benches until instructor calls for the class/private.

We have an amazing team that is here for you. This moment reminds us that we’re all connected like never before. We’re called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding and compassion. On behalf of all of us at Bob White’s Karate Studio, we’re committed to you and to persevering together in all the days and years ahead.

And as we go forward, we’ll be sure to keep you updated, and know that we always value your questions, ideas and feedback.
